Life is increasingly complicated these days with more people than ever before seeking health insurance advice from agents and brokers. Our members pride themselves on their knowledge and experience with private health insurance. They invest a great deal of time, effort and money into maintaining their own and that of their staff’s knowledge. PHIIA is on the verge of introducing it’s own Code of Conduct.

In 2007, the total number of complaints about relevant organisations or people was 2,534. The number of these complaints relating to Intermediaries was 36 – a total of 1.42% of all complaints.
In 2008, the total number of complaints was 2,534, of which 23 related to Intermediaries – a percentage of 0.91%.
In 2009, this declined even further, with the total number of complaints 2,642, of which 19 related to Intermediaries – a percentage of 0.72%
